Experience+ Training Grants – Applications for funding now open!

From 1 July 2010, the
Government is investing $7.68 million (over four years,
excludes GST) into Experience+ Training. Experience+ is part
of the Australian Government's Productive Ageing Package and helps
employers provide quality training for their mature age workers,
increasing the capacity of mature age workers to provide effective
mentoring, supervisory and other practical support to apprentices
and trainees in the workplace.
Applications are now open for employers (or small business owners)
to apply for Experience+ Training grants of $4,950 (includes GST).
Funding for Experience+ Training is provided to the employer in two
installments.

Applications for the 2010-11
Experience+ Training grants close on 30 June 2011 or when
funding is exhausted. Applications will reopen on
1 July 2011.
