Introduction and background
The purpose of this discussion
paper is to seek stakeholder input for the Advisory Panel on
Employment Services Administration and Accountability (APESAA).
APESAA is an independent panel that has been convened by the
Australian Government to identify potential improvements to the Job
Services Australia (JSA) program and Disability Employment Services
(DES) program with a focus on 'red tape' reduction. (In this
discussion paper, JSA and DES are referred to as 'the
Programs'.)
