The Internet Vacancy Index (IVI) increased by 0.7% in trend
terms in March 2011 with rises being recorded in all of the eight
occupational groups. In seasonally adjusted terms, the IVI
increased by 10.3% over the month, reflecting strong increases in
the Northern Territory (up by 14.8%) and Queensland (14.5%). The
newspaper-based Skilled Vacancy Index (SVI) increased by 1.7 per
cent for April 2011.1
