The Council of Australian
Governments today agreed help improve the care and support provided
to people living with severe and persistent mental illness and
complex care needs through a new National Partnership Agreement.
The Gillard Government will provide $200 million to help address
gaps in state and territory mental health systems. This Labor
Government is committed to delivering major reform in mental
health.
