Media Releases - Gillard government offers $200m for better mental health services

The Council of Australian Governments today agreed help improve the care and support provided to people living with severe and persistent mental illness and complex care needs through a new National Partnership Agreement. The Gillard Government will provide $200 million to help address gaps in state and territory mental health systems. This Labor Government is committed to delivering major reform in mental health.
