RESULTS
DEEWR's Monthly Leading Indicator of Employment (Indicator) has
fallen for the sixth consecutive month in June 2012. This confirms
that employment is likely to continue to grow more slowly than its
long-term trend rate of 1.7 per cent per annum in coming months. In
comparison, cyclical employment has fallen for sixteen consecutive
months.
