The Complaints Resolution and Referral Service' (CRRS) and the
'National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline' (the Hotline) are
now being operated by a new provider, Workfocus Australia.
The CRRS assists with the resolution of complaints from users of
Australian Disability Enterprises (ADEs), Advocacy services and
Disability Employment Services (DES) funded by the Australian
Government.
The service was established to complement internal disputes
resolution mechanisms, by providing an independent complaints
option with a focus on facilitating and encouraging local
resolution of issues between a service user and service provider,
or referral of problems to a more suitable body or jurisdiction
where appropriate.
The Hotline was established to provide a nationally accessible
telephone service to report abuse and neglect of people with
disabilities in Australian Government and state and territory
government funded services, and to refer the reports
appropriately.
Visit the
CRRS and
Hotline websites for more information. The freecall 1800 880
052 number remains the same.
