JobAccess - An Australian Government Initiative

JobAccess is an information and advice service funded by the Australian Government. It offers help and workplace solutions for people with disability and their employers. JobAccess is an initiative of the Australian Government to support the employment of people with disability.

JobAccess includes a comprehensive, easy-to-use web site and a free telephone information and advice service where you can access confidential, expert advice on the employment of people with disability.

 

Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information Service

The Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information Service provides up to date information and a range of resources on all aspects of Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships.   

Resources include over 3,000 Australian Apprenticeships job and training descriptions searchable by State and Territory, and industry based Job Pathway Charts and Practice Aptitude Quizzes. 

The Service provides two websites:

  • The Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information site (www.aatinfo.com.au) for support service networks such as Employment Services Providers, Australian Apprenticeships Centres and Group Training Organisations; and
  • The Australian Apprenticeships Pathways site (www.aapathways.com.au) used by these networks with their clients or by the general public as a 'self help' resource. 

Also provided is a phone and email enquiry service (1800 338 022 and contact@aatinfo.com.au), a Twitter service (www.twitter.com/aatinfoservice) and information sessions delivered across Australia. 

The Service is funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).

 

JobSearch

JobSearch is Australia's largest free online jobs website. It is funded and operated by the Australian Government as a free service to assist job seekers into employment and connect employers with quality staff.

Job Services Australia providers and public employers upload their job vacancies to JobSearch and search for potentially suitable staff.

Job seekers can search for jobs via the map on the homepage by choosing their state, local area and occupation category. The advanced search function includes more detail in search criteria.

Everyone is welcome to use JobSearch to search for vacancies. It's free to register and take advantage of the complete range of services.

The Portfolio Department of Human Services (the Department) includes the Child Support Agency and CRS Australia. Together with its Human Services Portfolio agencies - Centrelink, Medicare Australia and Australian Hearing - the Department works to improve government social and health-related services to all Australians.
